This oversimplified map was okay for 2D games on handhelds years ago.

It's absolute cancer.
A ridiculously small map designed for the Game Boy 20 years ago on a console that handle BOTW and DQX11.
Riding Pokemon could have been could, if the bigger route of the game wasn't 11 paces long....
