They're not YOUR remakes to begin with. The last remake was entirely geared towards children and ended up being better for the older fanbase as a side-effect.
Just because you're upset you might get lost in Sinnoh (believe me, there isn't much to get lost from anyway) doesn't mean they should sacrifice content over your precious map markers.
