Aside from the plot, that has always been stupid shit for children but that in this case is even more stupid than ever but hey who gives a shit about plot anyway, there are also many things that are just plain bad.
Like the new pokemon. Just a few are any decent at all and many others just feel... recycled.
Like this fucker here. Did we really need another electric mouse? What the fuck is the point of this little useless shit? I've seen so many better pokemon in fanmade threads, such a damn waste.
Then there is the total absence of post game material. All you get is some legendary and a small as fuck empty and ugly town with the battle tower and the friend safari.
I admit the friend safari is kinda cool, it still doesn't replace the complete time wasting autism process that breeding is but catching a pokemon from friend safari can be enough to go competitive and that's all it really matters.
The graphics are also quite bad. I mean I go from Fire Emblem to this and I just can't understand how they could make such bad graphics on a console that clearly can handle much better. Sure it's an improvement from the older pokemon, now it actually looks like something that is made for something a bit more recent than the freaking snes but god they could've done so much better.
Still, and this is personal taste, I prefer good 2d than this ugly as fuck 3d.
In the end if GF wasn't so fucking lazy and bad this could've been the best pokemon game ever.
Of course that was probably all planned by GF so they can release Z with little to no effort and fix all this fucking mess.
Afterall that's what they have always done since I bought red something like 12 years ago.
