>>32557567It's not that the majority have gotten tired of writing romance, they just seem to have gotten tired of putting effort into it. Most "romance" in the FF community ends up being short sex stories hardly any emotion at all. The other large portion of them seem to be stories that contain romance on some level, but usually as a subplot to add spice to some more important, over-arching plot. These ones can start out pretty strong, but usually end up either putting the romance plot on the back-burner, or concluding the romance plot halfway through the story, causing an abrupt stop to the flow.
My point is that there are very, very few people left that seem to be willing, and able, to write pure, old fashioned romance plots. I just want to see some nice dialogue, character development, and emotion for once.
