>>35773179Gen 7 is actually great as far as mon designs go, I don't think many people actually complain of the designs from it being bad (besides autistic genwunners), the real complaint from most people is the games themselves being too story-focused and USUM not having as much new content as people expected.
if the alola region had its story simplified, its missing areas completed (volcano, ultra-space areas being bigger, ultra metropolis being a real explorable area, etc), its routes made bigger and (why not, made in gen 2 aesthetic) I no doubt would be one of the most beloved regions of all.
