Just like pokemon sprites it's choosing the best of what we have so far. I personally can't work on UI because I have no clue what kind people want, it would just be me making 10 more uis with no indication of what people want. And there are a shit ton of variants, they are all pretty minor though so I thought it best to narrow down style first so people don't vote just based on a minor edit that can be applied to any of them.
