Pika & Goliath is a beat-for-beat remake of Electric Shock Showdown without any self awareness, instead having Ash lose to a random character of the week instead of a gym leader. They couldn’t write any new stories and had to resort to Ash learning the same morals over and over again but worse every time.
The ending sucked and the new series isn’t great but at least we can finally put Ash’s repetition to bed. Rest in piss
