Arguably almost every fan watching that isn't a genwunner that already did that years ago dropped the show after XY, his league win had no true audience, it just felt like a short-term apologie for his premeditated and forced Kalos blunder, that's why i don't get people think that anything that happens in the anime is properly earned when you compare the stakes and the writing to previous seasons it gets obviously painful that shit gets forced.
