>>45488345>never learns from his mistakesYeah, he didn't learn ANYTHING from the time he ignored Scorbunny's feelings on getting stronger and it nearly abandoning him, because its not like he's since been largely in-sync with its feelings, to the point where he neglected changing strategies because Raboot wanted to power through with Ember, the move that's emblematic of their relationship as Pokemon and Trainer. He learned nothing from that time he just chucked balls at Dewgong and didn't have any left to catch a member of the Dratini line, cartianly didn't lead him to actually try and take down strong mons who won't just it there and get caught. He hasn't learned jack from watching Ash train, or training with him, either. That episode where his entire capture of Flygon was due to him thinking outside the box with Sobble's Water Gun on Flygon's sand and Raboot's Ember on its Draco Meteor was entirely attributed to their experiences together? Didn't happen. Oh, and he's SUDDENLY a hyper-competent league level trainer too, completely disregarding the fact that the only other trainer he's tested his skills against thus far is Oleana, who is far from he best, and he ended up doing jack shit to Mewtwo in the end, even with Cinderace.
But yeah. Everything on a silver platter. Nothing learned, everything gained.
Dumbass.
