Thats a tricky one. One could argue that he will continue to do the thing that the volteccers did before they got roped into the Rakua can of worms: Exploring the Pokémon world for mysteries. On the other hand, him getting sent back to create a new timeline divergence where he gets to grow old with Rystal and Layla would be a complimentary piece to the games.

First part with Anne showing up on their way back had a decent tone attached to how her and Liko's experiences in the region of the other had a different tone from when they started. Kinda curious about what they muttering at the end with the undertone that she doesn't really get to go out much beforehand not because of her choice but by circumstances. (But that's the molefags in me speaking for finding the red Hering even though Amethio and Gibeon popped up right afterwards in a scene)

So, back to the plot atleast halfway in.
Friede popping in with a apology towards his former boss headfirst really selled the point combined with the 18th episode of how he longed to get out into the world and marks the shared impulsiveness he and Cap possesses. But him just waltzing into the restricted area and then out was just cool but that's for another time when he gets to play the adventurer again.

So Gibeon is Amethio's grandfather. Putting similarities aside, Spinel's tone and actions when looking back at the day of them trying to bait Fug with that soundbox makes it clear that none of the other admins are aware of the true nature of their relationship, just that he gets some more leeway by Gibeon which is making sense as to why Spinel is extra disgruntled. But him getting with invading and seemingly taking the shard sample himself again is something I will wait for the subtitles to roll in for if he just took it from Friede's previous job location or if he's willing to do his own agency at the detriment of Gibeon and what other overarching goal they might have in mind.

I miss a few Manga cons because of this thing. Met a handful of nice guys over those, feels bad to know that won't happen so often in the future now.

As for the new titles, I rike them. Dot's sounds like it lines up with that one animedia segment about her doing battles.
