He stabs your leg with his tail.
The pain shoots into you immediately, and gives you the adrenaline to kick him in the face. He quickly becomes stunned, and you give yourself more time to crawl up ahead.

He slams his tail ahead of you, shattering the starry road into two. Without jumping, there's no way to cross now, and that's just something you can't do.
