>>37393728The only criticism I have against Raichu is it being on the chubby side, I am thankful for the fact that it's recently been given the same treatment Pikachu got a while back and slimed down. Since the 3DS games it's no longer as chubby and anime deceptions have been kind, hell even in it's official artwork it's not even fat and decently portioned. Though I'm bias against fat Pokemon in general, I just think making something chubby is lazy design, so many early designs are bulky.
That said I don't think TPCi hates Raichu, it's gotten a good bit of merch which is great considering the fact there are hundreds of Pokemon that don't even have a single item (or at least some that are easy to get) I have one of it's plushes, a figure, jumbo TCG Card (Which it's GX card is okay in tcg), and a wallet (though I admit it's unofficial I still love the wallet, gonna be sad when it's completely faded in maybe a year and a half)
