The anime been's emphasizing the similarities between Ash and Leon. However, /padt/ forgets one key difference between Ash and Leon. Leon doesn't know defeat. If Ash loses, he'll see it as a chance to improve and get better because he's lost many times. But if Leon loses, how is he going to handle it? The anime takes Leon's undefeated gimmick even further than the games since he's beating top tier trainers from outside of Galar, so his reaction to defeat might be a lot more bitter than pic related.
