Lorelei:
Magneton more than easily plowed through Dewgong, Cloyster, and Slowbro. Lapras proved a bother with Confuse Ray, but persistence won out, before swapping in Charizard for the Jynx. No seduction for him, thanks! He's a pure, fire-breathin' boi!
Bruno:
LOL BRUNO (Exeggutor sweep, and that's why we don't talk about Bruno)
Agatha:
Raticate's Shadow Balls worked wonders on the first Gengar, and two delectable Thunders wrecked her Golbat. Switch out the Raticate for Snake on Snake action, where Earthquake destroyed her Arbok, and Rock Slides crushed her Haunter. Two Rock Slides on her second Gengar, then a timely swap (after being put to sleep) to my Raticate nullified its Shadow Ball, only to receive one from the scrappy rat in return!
Lance:
Magneton flash-fried his Gyarados, then dropped a reflect before switching to Seadra to Ice Beam the first Dragonair. The second Dragonair needed some timely Exeggutor interference, dropping a Light Screen and Leech Seed, then extra aid from Magneton and Seadra to pincer and slap it around. The Dragonite coming out, however, meant it was time for Arbok to drop an Intimidate, tank some Outrages with healing, and then Rock Slide the heck out of it when it kept slapping itself! Then switch to Magneton to zap down the Aerodactyl.
Rival (named ?):
Magneton went "ha-ha Pidgey go crisp." Played footsies with the Arcanine and switched to Seadra, with the ol' Surf to waste a Full Restore, and then Hydro Pump to finish the job. Switch over to Charizard to burn the Exeggutor like he was Whispy Woods. Switch to Exeggutor after he sent out Blastoise, set up a Light Screen and then I SUCKED, HIM, DRY--with Giga Drain. On Alakazam, Raticate wanted one more shot of glory, ate a Psychic, then went full ham and plopped a Shadow Ball on his face. Then it was LOL BRUNO on the Rhydon with Exeggutor.
