>>36356830Had a lot of trouble this time. There's a whole lot of routes newly available before this gym, but I still felt fairly underleveled all the way through. Snorlax especially tripped me up - the first time I encountered him, I ended up straight up running away in fear of KOs. The second time, I managed to catch him... then remembered I'd already caught someone on this route, so I had to get rid of him. I'm not going to bother counting that one as a dupe.
I did, however, manage to see Mike OHKO a Raichu. This is what true character development looks like. He's also got some random support moves on him now that I've been trying to get rid of as many TMs as possible.
I made sure to grind quite a bit before the gym because I was wary of catching an Explosion from Weezing. Turns out that wasn't the main problem at hand. I had completely forgotten about Muk's Minimize, and I stupidly tried to brute-force through it with Porro, which ended up killing him. Never try to turn off your brain during a Nuzlocke, it's not worth it.
So my team's going to need a shakeup pretty soon. I still haven't quite decided who I'm going to use to fill the void here. Viator's also getting swapped out after the next gym at the latest, since he's frankly outclassed by most wild encounters late in the game.
