Your top priorities when visiting should be Bagon (dragon berries), Trapinch and maybe Dwebble (avocados), Alolan Wooper (poison ingredient specialist), and maybe Caterpie (bug berries).
Next priorities will most likely be Pumpkaboo (pumpkins), maybe Ekans (poison berries), maybe Swablu (dragon berries as Altaria).
You can also scout helpers ideal for other islands with a lot of newer debuts, like Torchic (fighting berries as Blaziken), Mudkip (ground berries as Swampert), Natu (psychic berries), Happiny (egg farmer), Larvitar (ginger farmer), Rufflet (berry burst).
I would actually recommend against Toxel and Toxtricity, they're too reliant on their main skills being paired with another Plus/Minus user, resulting in too high of an investment cost. Amped Toxtricity's ingredient magnet level 7 only gets 18 ingredients + 14 milk under the right conditions, compared to standard ingredient magnet level 7 that unconditionally gathers 24 ingredients.
Heracross is an ingredient magnet user on-par with Vaporeon that will be available at Amber Canyon, but might be harder or easier to raise up depending on how frequently they appear compared to the Toxel family.
