For those of you who remember (probably no one), on my last attempt Skyla wrecked in my shit. So i was pretty fucking scared going into it. Especially with 2 Fire Types. Here's what happened....
>Skyla.I lead off with my newest lad, Quirrel the Escavalier. Acrobatics from Swoobat doesn't do much damage. About 1/3rd. X-Scissor does 95%. Swoobat heals and Quirrel goes for another X. After taking another Acrobatics, Quirrel finishes Swoobat off.
Out comes Swanna. Not my ideal situation since the strat I cooked up required Skarm to come out. No matter, I had a back-up! I send out Austin on an Air Slash. I let Austin use Light Screen while Swanna goes for another Air Slash, activating my Sitrus. Austin T-waves and gets hit with a crit Bubblebeam, leaving him on 4. hp.(*)
I send out Twoona on another Bubblebeam. Twoona plucks away Swanna's Sitrus. I send in Embuppy on the last turn of Light Screen and he takes an Air Slash extremely well. I pray to RNGsus and Emb manages to kill Swanna with Thunder Fang.
Skarm comes out last and I send in Flambill to kill it. Lava Plume leaves Skarm on a sliver, but due to Flame Body burning Skarm, it dies in 2 turns anyway.
* Another stroke of luck on my end. Going up to Skyla I had Austin hold lefties, decided to switch for a Sitrus instead since my original plan was letting Twoona set up Tail Wind on Skarm, using pluck/faint attack to ruin sturdy and finish with Tail Winded Embuppy, so Twoona having lefties would've worked better.
You guys might think overstragetizing is robbing the fun, but coming up with strats is my favorite bit of a locke.
