>>53046916Eh, "overdesigned" doesn't work well for pokemon, who are supposed to be wild animals or pets. I'd argue it works better for digimon who are somewhat unique in their universe and more characters than generic wild animals. Personally I enjoy the "rule of cool" in series like Digimon and Yugioh.
