It was actually that moment that fully convinced me to work with people with disabilities.
I started volunteering to help socialize autistic children and teens. Most of them were very obsessed with things like pokemon, and you couldn't bring up things like star wars, politics, or modern video games with the older ones because they'd get very upset and rant about SJWs. It was my job to try and keep things under control, calm them down and resolve arguments.
It was then that I realized that I'd never really left 4chan. I was an irl Janny. I even did it for free.
