>>33975403>>33975483Mega Tyranitar incorporates aspects of Pupitar into its design, in particular the indentations on its pecs resembling a pair of eyes, and its upper body's front more resembles armor (it is the "Armor" Pokemon). The longer spikes are just typical exaggeration to make it a little more different from the base form, and the only aspect of it that resembles SpaceGodzilla is Mega Tyranitar's crest. While Tyranitar has stance and proportions similar to Godzilla, it's more based on daikaiju in general.
