I just bounced back from a massacre due to shit luck, lost my starter and Kadabra who I was counting on for this run, only had three mons with me from Route 11 until Celadon. I nabbed Azula and turned her into a Jolteon, then grabbed Dio and Rocket from the two routes surrounding Celadon. Gonna go back into a grinding montage (again)
Korra's been the MVP of this run so far, gyarados is one of my bro mons and they're useful in every gen tbqh. Glad to have her as my new ace pokemon. Dux is also surprisingly useful with swords dance, makes a pretty good sweeper.
