That's just for getting access with KICKASS. You can't access seeddb with KICKASS so homebrew can't take over them (which is necessary for encrypting/decrypting save data or using HANS). Months ago we got a workaround with a custom HBL that uses custom mmaps for these games and a repository with the XMLs for each game. Smea probably got past it and can get it done out of the box without these XMLs and also get rid of the pseudo-randomization shit Nintendo has been doing lately, which fucked pokémon save editing on 11.1+.
