Hot take (even though it shouldn't be): i'll shit on the remakes if they don't have every single improvement that Platinum made (expanded Battle Frontier/Battle Area, Looker, the Distortion World, your villa in the Resort Area, etc). Why? Because Platinum is the definitive way to play Sinnoh, and these should all be mandatory inclusions.
Including content from the best version of a game in the remake is the standard for everyone EXCEPT Gamefreak
HeartGold and Soul Silver should be the base for every single remake moving forward, faithful to the what came before while adding features that everyone loves (like the Battle Frontier), but the fact that we have to guess whether or not these will even be added is pathetic, but even worse is those that will defend it without a second thought.
