I'm gonna be straight with you guys. Gen 1 you just can't lose. You can't, period. This is technically my 3rd time playing through this same game and in these 3 combined runs so far I've lost a grand fucking total of what? 3 mons. 1 of those was a level 4 shitmon that I threw out to eat a bubblebeam on misty because I retardedly got mixed up and thought that Starmie was like Psyduck/Golduck in that it wouldn't be part Psychic, the other was because I thought Karate Chop was a fighting move and thought my psychic pokemon would resist it on the switch in while trying to level it. I've only had one legitimate death and that was just because I was retarded and thought my Beedril could survive a Psychic and sweep Sabrina (I just wanted him to have the spotlight).
Basically, what I'm trying to say here is that I ain't losing this shit. Period. It's not like the later games which can 'trip you up' or have things not go as planned, the move pool in this game is far too restrictive for enemies to surprise me with anything, they all lack key coverage moves, the AI in general is shit. I had champion Blue spam whirlwind 4 (FOUR) fucking times on his Pidgeot while I was setting up on my Pokemon who was 20 levels lower than him to sweep his team.
I'm tired of this gen honestly, I know the whole point of an autismlock is to go through all of the games which will make you think that I'll just pull the same excuse but I'm sure that the future gens will actually be sufficiently challenging so that future playthroughs won't be so fucking dull.
So after this longwinded post, my question to you guys is this (and please for the love of fuck just answer, the threads already on the verge of dying so answering will at least help in keeping this shit bumped) -
Actually I'll have to continue in the next post since I've ran out of space lmao
