>>35831190I kind of shrugged Hau off in SM, but I came to like him a lot more in USUM. He has his own arc that goes on alongside yours, and he has his own insecurities and fears to work out before he can become a better trainer.
Also, I feel like it says a lot about us when we dismiss a rival character BECAUSE he's not the edgy teen asshole we're used to. In that regard Hau has been the most interesting rival to date.
