>>38871543>How many viable teams can be made in anything goes?Back in the day, lots of people used normal teams---not Smogon focused, just something you'd make if you were playing the actual game.
It was not dominated by people trying to climb the ladder with UBER teams but you'd have to be matched up with them around 40% of the time.
Depending on your team and theirs and how stupid they were, you could even win.
I used a Guts Swellow lead which could decimate non-Rock and Steel teams.
And you could always quit if you wanted since it wasn't about getting a high score, but winning legitimate matches.
Having a low score didn't matter because past a point, high scores meant having to face teams full of legendaries made by tryhards. So 1000-1400/~1500pts, you could face competent opponents who were just looking to play some competitive, unrestricted Pokemon as GameFreak intended.
>i would imagine that due to some crazy (otherwise banned) moves, there would be less variabilityI could go fish up my old replays for you to give you a better idea.
