Also that setup seems pretty convoluted; I doubt I'll remember it so hey maybe I'll forget some of it + go in unspoiled by the time I actually read it (don't own those volumes yet).

I'm probably gonna have a rough time reading this, huh. It is how it is. Maybe in the future I'll complain about Pokespe Kanto instead for some variety
Also as always, yeah most of this is personal preference. I'm not caling Kusaka a hack since clearly a lot of people seem to like these guys
>>53272668I don't go out of my way to read plot summaries (I only went on Bulbapedia just now to look up Platinum's reason for having guards before it got posted here) but yeah I do actually look ahead at random chapters sometimes and form impressions based on that. The impressions I haven't aren't the greatest re: what I like in stories but I admit I'm not as big a fan of this manga as others are, so.
I am gonna read it and will probably post my actual thoughts on /vp/ in the end whenever that actually happens.
