GF somehow managed to make cities WORSE transferring from 2D to 3D, they are either stupid to navigate like Lumiose or just not good like Hau'oli. Jubilife and Castelia weren't great but GF was able to make a city feel like a city back on the DS, notably with Goldenrod.
These cities need to be well designed and bustling but also easy to get around in, and Goldenrod has done the best job so far. Lumiose was a shit show and I hated going back there.
