Face the facts, /vp/. Bipedal pokemon run this franchise because they are more appealing to children, thus have more marketing power, than "literally my mom's" quadruped pokemon. They are also easier to animate, more flexible in combat, and are generally better for showcasing fun personalities. Lucario wouldn't be as iconic if he was a literal jackal.
