It could be that because she is already under the effects of a magical transformation that nothing happens to her. Maybe she becomes a cucco again, perhaps the blue one? A special one. What about the boy though? He is mischievous and adventurous, but with a good heart, and perhaps lonely. I suppose he might become a fox-like creature of some kind. It would be fitting, wouldn't it?
