>>33568585It's going to look like lineless citra footage but with better lighting and textures so it doesn't look like ass. The overworld aesthetics will get a makeover again, I know they did it in gen 7 but there were still some chibi-like aspects. This also means following Pokemon, like, 100% will be returning, because the battle models will fit perfectly with the rest of the world and the animations are already made + better hardware... we're talking like 3x if not more powerful than the 3ds. Battle models will stay largely untouched because they're high poly. Animation changes are possible but don't count on it.
