I still stand by what I said about this game being white bread. It's not offensive doodoo garbage but gets sloggy FAST if you're doing it with exp off for too long, and a little mindless if its on for too long. I'm never too big on plot for pokemon games since they serve as set dressing for why you're doing things right now, but it hit even less so than other entries. I really don't want to act like a grouch, but XY felt weak compared to what came before and after in different aspects, that being the presentation, QoL, and gameplay. Didn't exactly feel much for it outside of the pokemon themselves. I guess the real question is which is worse; a bad game or a boring game.
Anyway, the next playthrough thread might not be for a while, but I'm planning on getting to ORAS, then USUM, and then I'm not sure about the switch games. LGPE and Legends are in strange territory. I played Legends and found it fun, but never touched LGPE. Dunno if I should go from LGPE -> SwSh -> SV or skip LGPE entirely.
