A friendly Jap breeder traded me a great Gible with Outrage and Iron Head, which since then has been one of the key players of my team. The combination of Rocky Helmet and Rough Skin saved my ass countless times.
After recking Grant's gym I've managed to get through the Route of Death (also known as Geosenge Town -> Reflection Cave -> Shalour City) with just one, albeit painful loss - Murkrow died in a battle with Karate Girl that packed Unburden Hawlucha with Rock Tomb. Since then I've been struggling to find a good replacement. Wonder Trade wasn't kind enough to give me another Dark type, so for now I'm sticking with the 4 party members I have.
Since I was smart enough to pick Charmander from Sycamore, I've been rocking the game with everyone's favourite Nukezard. Needless to say Ramos Gym was burnt to crisps in a matter of minutes.
Saved the game at the entrance to Kalos Power Plant. Really enjoying this run so far.
