>20-30 dollar expansion/dlc instead of secondary/third versions
>map design is overhauled, all cities are opened up more and have new areas to explore, more NPCs that give items/TMs/TRS/giftmons so there's incentive to explore, more interesting landmarks are added like museums and office buildings, larger train stations, just shit to go around in and battle/get items in
>routes also get the same treatment and get more dungeons such as caves, castles, forts, forests, etc etc, and these places actually have important shit in them like gigantamax gift mons, rare Pokemon, battle chateu style buildings, legendary encounters, all those classic reasons to explore
>2 post game mini regions consisting of wales and ireland, wales is a lot less substantial with just a few new towns, ireland mini region also has a few new towns but has a fuckhuge battle frontier as well, consisting of all the old favorites along with new ones and a pwt style building as well
>another postgame story revolving around traveling to these mini regions, discovering new pokemon that only exist in these areas, as well as taking on the minor league gyms not present in the main story, maybe you could throw in some evil team shit, I dunno.
>wild area is given a fuckload more shit to explore, mainly consisting of dungeons with special gigantamax raids at the end of them, the dungeons have trainers you have to fight all the way to the end so it's not just waltzing in there and trecking to the end to do the raid
>also, add an urban area near the back of wyndon that's the same as the wild area just in an urban city, maybe have accessible restaurants you can use for training like back in x/y too, I don't know.
>add some towns to the emptier areas in the wild area for extra flavor, have them be more like settlements but still just something to look at and look around in
>difficulty options that make trainers more threatening and puzzles harder
>new game plus?
>new legendary
