In the game sure he instantly starts obeying you because of mechanics but any other medium you'd know he'd do. The second you let him out of his ball he'd turn around and KILL YOU for your arrogance and because you pissed. He was willing wipe out an entire city over a couple of his cells, you really think hes going to play nice because some 10 year old shoved in a small container?
There is one masterball that makes pokemon obey without question.... only problem is it corrupts them and basically turns them into a golem that will do anything to fulfill its orders including kill its trainer if they change their mind, the orders can't be revoked.
Don't fuck with pokemons free will, it benefits nobody
