Make it about a group of ace trainers or gym leaders trying to stop an actual villain and not a 2d cartoon cut out baddie, Giovanni himself. Lysandre or Ghetsis. I bet that would get a lot of the older audience who played the first couple gens interested better than LGPE, I had friends who didnt care for pokemon much since Emerald watch Generations because it wasnt just Satoshi silly shenanigans from start to end.
