>>21470103It includes Flash, but the hack is special; it's "plot-driven," so you could only get party members when the hack let you, which meant for the first third of the game you were limited to a Pikachu/Chikorita/Torchic that could never evolve, so when you had to waste one of your moveslots on an HM like Rock Smash it was pretty crippling, and even when you get the other party members your choices are limited in who you can teach things to -- for example, you had to use both Surf and Waterfall, and only Dratini could learn either of them. I didn't want to waste a moveslot on something useless like Flash when there are no move deleters in the game and I, at the time, only had twelve moveslots total among my three party members.
Of course, that meant every other mission was a Flash maze, and by the end I was just spiteful and refused to teach Flash because Jagold didn't buff it any and it was just a useless move.
Then toward the end of the game the proportion and length of the Flash caves increased more and more, culminating in a giant maze with overpowered wild encounters that occurred every 4-5 steps, and don't forget that Jagold is a shit hacker so if you white out, the game permanently, irreversably breaks. Note that after the listed Giratina battle, you're sent back to near the top-left corner of the map and have to navigate it a second time, and the odds were so stacked against you (I'm serious, it's 21 fucking Legendaries, in five sets of doubles battles, the first against four Lv. 50 Legendaries, then four sets of battles against the same Lv. 60 Legendaries, then a battle against a 1240 BST Lv. 60 Legendary, with no healing in between any of the battles) that you need every piece of coverage you can get.
I'm getting PTSD just talking about it. Flash caves trigger me at this point, though this is just Rock Tunnel so it's pretty linear and short.
>>21470111The slowdown seems to affect me outside of Rock Tunnel, so I'm not sure exactly what it is here.
