>>57210816Weird arguement since it's a card game so every new version of a mon is literally going to be a different picture on a card. Its not like making an entire new mon in a game that needs an entire movepool and animations tailored for it. Releasing a new Charizard takes no more or less effort just because its a steel type now.
The point is that it gives new options on how to build your deck. If you like a certain mon but it doesn't fit the energy you're running, bam. Delta it and now you could run it in types you couldn't previously. It also gives you some strategy mid game if you run a mix type deck since you can evolve to more than one type depending on your foes type advantage. And it's just cool.
