>>46946804I started out as somebody who appreciated (almost) every generation equally and now I can barely bring myself to play anything that isn't Gen.1 or Gen.2, despite clunky battle mechanics, minimalistic graphics and the lack of modern QoL improvements.
There is just something so fundamentally good about those games that none of the flaws seems to matter to me.
