Anyway - I've been following the steps in guide for more than half an hour and still haven't spotted a single beast. Am I just unlucky or am I doing something wrong?
I've tried alternating flying between Mahogany and Violet just like it's said here; and since that didn't work I tried my own way by checking the grass below Ecruteak, and going back&forth between the grass and the town and repeat.
Do the beasts not appear if the first in your party has a too high lvl and if you use max repel ? I can't tell if it recommends a lvl 40 Jynx because higher levels don't work or just because that's the level where it can outspeed the beasts.
