I've had trade requests a fair few times. Most of them just swap something random to get an ID, but others seem to silently pressure you into offering something rarer by consistently denying trades.
There was one guy I managed to somewhat communicate with because of the trade order, though. He started with a Graveler, so I traded it back afterwards, then gave him a spare region exclusive for some other stuff he had.
Then he added me as a friend, challenged me to a battle and his whole team got wrecked 6-0 by my Hone Claws Hawlucha
