>>12672073Holy shit. Again, a single critical hit from Chuck would have ended me. That level of adrenaline at 4:00AM is nuts, man.
Also there are a lot of Ratatta and Hoot-hoots out at night, so my pool is considerably limited.
Brief Gym Outline:
Whitney: Had Toaster kill Clefairy and get in as many Smokecloud on Miltank until switching to Bubba, who finished the job. He had dig just incase rollout become unbearable. He could resist the first hit (or two) before digging and causing the rollout to reset.
Monty: Cogsworth evolved and tore through his shit thanks to the combination of Reflect, Insomnia, Hypnosis, and Confusion.
Chuck: Jesus Christ. Though that I'd like Bloomburg handle the fighting gym, but he was still getting ripped through by ice punches and neutral moves, so I grinded Cogsworth to 32, learned Air Slash, and went to town. Kill Primeape easy, but Poliwrath was challenging. Everytime I reflected, healed, or de-paralyzed from the body slams, I'd get a focus-punch, and I had to balance between attempting to throw up a reflect while paralyzed, healing, healing the paralyzation, etc. Shit was scary, and at any moment a crit would have killed Cogsworth, but he pulled through. Shit was intense. We went from like, level 22 to level 31 bosses, was not expecting that.
So yeah. Cogsworth and Bubba are the MVPs by far. Shitty thing is now I have fly but I don't want to teach it to Coggy since his attack stat is awful and Airslash, Confusion, Reflect, and Hypnosis are all great. Ugh. Guess I'll just surf back and fuck it.
6AM and hard to keep my eyes open. Hope my luck continues tomorrow.
PS it's crazy how OCD I am about having other Pokemon at a higher level than my starter. It bothers me so fucking much, I've never had this happen before for this long.
