I got one of those phone-rockers to trick adventure sync into thinking I'm walking (with location turned off).
It worked really well for the first few dozen miles. Giving egg distance and buddy candy.
Then I left it on overnight and racked up like 90km in 9 hours. When I launched the game, it said I had walked 90km since my last login, and it hatched my eggs, but I only got 3 buddy candy (should've been like 18 candy).
Since then, adventure sync only seems to count toward my egg distance, but not buddy candy. I've hatched several eggs today via adventure sync, but generated no buddy candy.
Whats up with that?
