Been developing an OC who's an anxious little schoolboy, I named him Ginger as a placeholder cause of his hair and intended to name him something better but unfortunately my brain is chewed up parking lot gum so whenever I name something- it sticks forever lol.
He lives in Johto, he and his father moved their from Sinnoh for a more rustic life in New Bark Town.
He attends school in Violet City and got a little Pichu as a starter Pokemon from there.
His dad is a little protective but finally agreed to let him take the gym challenge- now he's wandering Johto and Kanto trying to collect as many gym badges as he can before school's back in session at the end of the month.
He started out incredibly anxious at the beginning of his journey but the closer he got with his team and the more badges he collected really perked him up and helped him come out of his shell- or in his case raincoat since he never takes it off.
I got art of him a long time ago in a drawthread. I have a recoloured version of him to suit how I've been imagining him but I kept the originals cause 1: it'd be rude as all hell to not keep them and 2: the original versions were super cute and I honestly loved the colours in them so I keep them as an alternate colour palette.
His design ain't anything extraordinary cause for now he's a schoolkid in a raincoat but I still feel like it'd be fun to share.
