Crystal was my third Pokemon game, after Blue and Yellow. Even as a kid, I never respected Meganium as belonging alongside the other 5 starters. Not only is its design boring and ugly, but its stats, movepool, typing, and now ability have consistently been the worst of all of the starters. It may have been slightly better than Serperior prior to its DW ability being released, but now that's over and it's back on bottom.
