>>36691691What i'd do is save before every single trainer fight, trying to find what i could work with given their lead mon. Many times i'd have to find "burner" turns to use up useless moves on to get to Struggle quicker. I had to beeline Cinnabar to dupe Candies and Full Restores, and once that happened, I burned off all of my Transform PP on Route 1, and then went the rest of the game using Struggle on everything. Too bad that stops working at Agatha, so you need to pop an Ether and fight the rest of the league normally.
Also, the only time Brock has ever been an issue, because his pokemon are so terrible that it makes you terrible
