>>38737659I can tell you the world of Pokemon is indeed deeper than you realize. Even if people call the anime wasted potential it sets up the perfect base more than the games for what's possible. Add the Pokemon Special manga into the mix and you have the perfect starting recipe whatever story you wish to cook up. Unless you're doing a joint world with other content creators you can write whatever you please (Just try to keep it a little grounded with no mary sue shit or some garbage about being the chosen one). Its even possible to just do a retelling of the game events with some changes thrown in with your character. Allow me to jerk myself off for a moment by using mine
>>38735626 as an example. As you can see everything is mostly original until I'm dropped in Alola. From there I take the place of that universes "me" and engage in the events of UltraSun/UltraMoon with some light changes like Necrozma ending Giovanni before stealing the light and Faba helping Team Rocket from my dimension which doesn't completely affect that games events but enough to give it a dash of freshness. But back to the point, yeah the Pokemon world is indeed deep and that's coming from someone who has yet to drop the anime. As shit as Ash may be you'll end up seeing some pretty cool places and get a better understanding of the world than you would in the games. The places you could travel to. The dickbags you'll meet. The goodbyes you'll experience with your Pokemon. And evolve along with your team.
