Dynamax is a one-size-fits-all transformation where everything in the game receives the exact same benefits. People got excited for new Megas because it meant that some Pokemon could improve at the most basic level. Whereas Dynamax is trying to balance the game by making everything """good""" at the same time.
It's not terrible, but it is pretty fucking boring. Give me pic related over the GMax any day.
