I'll live, but I share your disappointment. It's an island resort surrounded by lots of ocean and yet you can't go under the sea.
It's retarded, but I'll forgive it because the story/plot seems to be very engaging even for Pokemon standards and that it's likely Pokemon mainline games will be nothing but uphill from here in general.
