It's a matchup fish at the end of the day as all gimmicky strats are, but the point of Chansey teams is to make it unkillable with minimize stacks + guard swapping with a Shuckle and backing it up with teammates that can threaten the field alongside their immortal partner.
The real problem with this is that TPC is full of retards who keep making Bo1 tournaments that count for admission to worlds, so you're encouraged to bring matchup fishing teams that can automatically win games for you so you can cheese points for admission into worlds.
